[ in another situation the lack of a reaction might make zack pause and feel faintly frustrated but for right now it's acceptable. he can be distracted with the feel of her lips on his and her humming like she's pleased with him. truth be told he'll take that pleased hum a thousand times over just from how it makes his skin warm.

at her pursed lips though he finds himself almost wanting to back away not because he doesn't want this but just because he wants to see her tell him to get his ass back over to her to not leave her hanging because seriously zack. he doesn't though, he enjoys playing with fire but he's pretty sure she's a supernova that would straight up disintegrate him and he's not willing to run into that.

he does let out a small laugh before picking her up and just dropping her on the bed. there's a thought to just stay standing up looking at her on the bed but that would mean he couldn't touch her and— well she deserves more than that. it takes him a second on purpose to climb over her and to press his lips against hers while his hands move slide under her shirt.

he was waiting for nothing. but he'd like to not do all the work himself. ]

( his hands are a welcome sensation, palms hot as they course a trail over her ribs and along the lines of her stomach; she doesn't hesitate to arch into the touch, lifting up just enough to let them slip around to her back. another hum, a low rumble of her approval, echoes against his lips before she pulls away, head tipping back as she murmurs, ) That's better...

( not quite enough, not yet, but it's a good start. it's better when her fingers curl against the hem of his shirt, tugging up and over his head in a swift, sharp motion. it pulls his hands away, but only for a moment, and then she's guiding him back, wrapping arms around his neck to drag him back that much closer.

it seems like the moment to say something, but there's nothing she can think of that she wants to say. i missed you is too... emotional. )

[ his lips curl up into a smirk at her murmur. of course it's better, it's what she wants and it's what he's happy to give her because he wants it just as much as she does. he doesn't want to let go when she tugs off his shirt but he knows that he regrettably has to so that he can have it off.

once it's off and she guides his hands back he doesn't hesitate to lightly scratch her lower back. when her arms wrap around his neck he almost starts to nuzzle at her before stopping himself. it's a moment to say something or do something but— then again for them it's not. so he settles for something he feels like might remind them of what they're doing.

( which, to be fair, she didn't. she might be happy to let him pull her over, but not quite yet. right now, she's happy to feel his weight against her, the warmth of his breath ghosting over her neck and shoulders as he moves to press his mouth against the column of her throat. if she shivers a bit from the touch, it's not her fault. it's just a reaction. one impossible to control. )

Don't tease me.

( as if that's not her entire life. teasing and encouraging and occasionally begging a little bit, just to feel a little something. of all things, they share that desire — to get lost in sensation, to forget their own fears and worries and lives for a moment or two, to drown in something much more enjoyable for a short while. that's why she calls him. that's why he comes when she calls. )
